Satanic Sex Cult is a punk band from the south of France, formed in 2024, long after the end of Illegal Process, a disappearance that left a void for musicians who had spent years playing and touring together.

Eventually, the same people reunited and started a new project rooted in punk rock while remaining completely free in its forms.

After a few months of rehearsals, the band recorded a first EP by themselves before handing the mixing and mastering over to Jim Diamond, known among others for his work with The White Stripes, The BellRays and The Detroit Cobras.

Released as an ultra-limited edition of 50 tapes, this obscure recording can only be found at the band’s live shows.

Both musically and lyrically, the band sets no boundaries and feeds the Beast with everything that fuels its venom.

From The Damned to Aleister Crowley, from The Dead Boys to the Marquis de Sade and from Emil Cioran to Darkthrone, Satanic Sex Cult draws from a wide range of influences and spits it all back out in the language of Molière.

Today, SSC still does everything on its own, is recording its first full-length album and releases a new track from it every two months on streaming platforms.
